Working alongside the Head Chef and Senior Pastry Chef, you'll play a starring role in designing and crafting top-tier sweet offerings for College Fellows, students, staff, and high-profile conference guests.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Crafting and presenting high-quality desserts, pastries, and conference treats.
  • Contributing fresh, creative ideas to seasonal menu developments.
  • Assisting with food cost controls, stock management, and room cleanliness.
  • Maintaining immaculate food safety, allergen information, HACCP, and hygiene standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: proven, stable experience in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment (College or high-end hospitality experience is a bonus!).
  • Qualifications: NVQ 1 & 2 / City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 (or equivalent pastry/baking qualification) is desirable.
  • Key Skills: An exceptional eye for detail, top-notch organizational skills, and solid knowledge of COSHH, HACCP, and allergen regulations.
  • Mindset: A reliable, flexible team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and stays cool under pressure during busy conference seasons.
