We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Handballers to join their busy distribution centre in Bury St Edmunds. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading of secondary transport vehicles during night shifts. These vehicles are then used for onward delivery the following day to customers. You will play a key part in ensuring all goods are loaded accurately, securely, and in line with delivery requirements to support smooth and timely operations. This position is temporary; however, it may become permanent for the right individual.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently load secondary transport vehicles during night shifts
- Accurately check goods against loading and delivery notes
- Follow manual handling procedures at all times
- Maintain high Health & Safety standards within the warehouse environment
- Prepare vehicles ready for outbound delivery crews
- Work effectively as part of a fast-paced team

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling work
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Counterbalance / Reach FLT licence desirable but not essential
