My client is searching for a capable Bookkeeper to take ownership of their Purchase Ledger and contribute across the full bookkeeping cycle in their Watford-based office. This role is ideal for an AAT or ACCA qualified Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, VAT returns (UK and EU), and Amazon or large retailer payment processing. You’ll also liaise daily with the Credit Controller and provide cover when needed. As the Bookkeeper, you\’ll manage multi-currency accounts (GBP, EUR, USD), process payments, reconcile supplier statements, and support quarterly reporting with the external accountant.
This part-time Bookkeeper role is offered over 24 hours a week across four days, with flexibility around your exact schedule. In return, you’ll receive:
- £25,000 salary (based on 24 hours per week)
- Office-based role in Watford (no hybrid option)
- 28 days holiday pro rata (including bank holidays), increasing after 3 years
