We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Plant Driver to join a busy and supportive team based in Beccles. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work with a wide range of plant and specialist vehicles while playing a key part in keeping operations moving across the region.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and collecting plant machinery using low loaders
- Completing daily vehicle and machine checks
- Shunting and organising vehicles within the yard
- Transporting vehicles between depots
- Collecting new vehicles from body builders
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Proven experience transporting plant machinery and operating low loaders
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach to work
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 – £45,000 per year (depending on experience)
22 days paid holiday per year, including bank holidays
Varied and active role with a wide range of plant and specialist vehicles
