This is a genuinely unusual opportunity — and one that doesn’t come around very often. We’re recruiting on behalf of a small, highly specialised business based in Essex that operates as the sole global sales and marketing agency for one of the world’s most iconic FMCG brands. With an exclusive partnership spanning over 50 years, this business manages distributor relationships, sales operations, and commercial performance across multiple regions including the USA, Europe and the Far East. The office is calm, close-knit, and deliberately lean. With several people in the team, everyone knows their brief, and everyone matters. This is not a corporate environment — it’s a place where your contribution is visible from day one, and where the right person can build a genuinely impressive career over the long term.

The Role

Sitting within Business Operations and reporting to an experienced Senior Analyst, this role sits at the intersection of data and communication. Yes, you’ll be working with numbers — budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, order progress monitoring, and reporting across international markets — turning complex data into clear, actionable insight for leadership and stakeholders. But the ability to analyse data is only half the job. The other half is being able to communicate what it means. You’ll be talking to distribution partners across the world on a daily basis — chasing forecasts, understanding variances, getting answers when timelines are tight. You’ll be translating complex commercial information into clear, confident messaging for internal stakeholders and leadership. And you’ll need to know when to push, when to listen, and how to get what you need from people across different cultures, time zones, and levels of seniority. Forecasts are critical to how this business operates. Accuracy matters. That means your written and verbal communication needs to be as sharp as your analytical thinking.

The Person

You’ll be a graduate with around 2–3 years of commercial experience already behind you — this isn’t a first job, and it shouldn’t be viewed as a stop gap. We’re looking for someone who is intellectually sharp and analytically strong, but who expresses themselves with equal clarity. Someone who can write a concise, well-judged email to an overseas distributor just as comfortably as they can build a trend analysis from a complex dataset. You’ll be naturally organised and good at prioritising — able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball on the details. You’ll have the confidence to chase people when needed and the commercial instinct to know why it matters. You’ll be numerate, curious, and the kind of person who spots a problem before being asked to look for it. Above all, this role suits someone with a genuine appetite to learn. There is a long learning curve here — the business is complex and the brand history is deep — and that’s a feature, not a drawback.

The Package

  • Salary: Excellent DOE
  • Pension scheme
  • Private health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Income protection
  • Travel insurance
  • Profit share
  • Free on-site parking

If you’re looking for a role with longevity, genuine development, and the chance to be part of something rare — we’d love to hear from you.
