We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join our client's team in Snetterton.

This is a varied role within a busy warehouse environment, covering goods in, stock control, despatch and general warehouse duties, while also providing support to the technical and purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving goods and supplies and checking product descriptions, quantities and quality.
  • Storing goods safely and accurately, ensuring stock is correctly identified and located.
  • Creating pick tickets and despatch notes.
  • Preparing stock for despatch by external logistics suppliers.
  • Carrying out regular stock counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Assisting the technical team with basic engineering duties.
  • Supporting the buying team with basic purchasing tasks.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the warehouse and working area.
  • Following company procedures and warehouse processes.
  • Working in line with quality standards and company policies.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Completing any other reasonable duties as required by the Warehouse or Supply Chain Management team.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or stock control environment.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of warehouse health and safety.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous experience with stock control, purchasing or a technical/engineering environment would be advantageous.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 09:00-17:00

No weekend or shift work required.
