What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the Delivery Team
    • Oversee daily delivery operations and ensure smooth functioning.
    • Plan deliveries and ensure accurate, safe loading.
    • Conduct plant / vehicle checks and manage outbound deliveries.
  • Driving Commercial Success
    • Implement the store’s sales plan and make sound commercial decisions.
    • Maximise delivery service profitability and promote monthly offers.
    • Handle customer inquiries and upsell Selco services.
  • Empowering and Developing the Team
    • Set direction and assign tasks, monitoring results.
    • Conduct training, briefings, and inductions for direct reports and drivers.
    • Foster a high-support, high-challenge environment and empower colleagues.
  • Operational Leadership & On-Duty Responsibility
    • Act as the senior leader, managing store operations and resolving issues.
    • Ensure clear communication and handovers between shifts.
    • Serve as a key holder, responsible for opening / closing and security.
