Deliver structured onboarding for new HGV Drivers. Assess new drivers' ability, safety standards, customer interaction, and delivery procedures. Provide clear feedback to Store and Regional Management. Act as the first point of contact for driver queries and operational support. Coach drivers to improve safety, efficiency, customer service, and bonus performance. Deliver ad-hoc training or refresher sessions (e.g., loading, route planning, customer service). Share best practice and encourage continuous improvement. Work closely with Regional and Transport teams to identify training needs. Provide relief HGV driving support across the region as required. Offer flexibility to support stores outside the home location when needed. Ensure full compliance with company policies and legal driving regulations. Maintain accurate records, both manual and digital. Support investigations into delivery issues or customer feedback where helpful. Promote strong security awareness, shrinkage control, and operational discipline.

You must have an up-to-date Cat C Driving licence. The working hours for this role are 45 per week. As Driver Mentor for the North West you'd be supporting stores in Ardwick, Ashton, Baguley, Warrington and Liverpool.
