We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join a leading private credit platform's underwriting team. This role is integral to the execution of middle-market direct lending transactions, with a focus on credit analysis, structuring, and risk assessment. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities and ensuring disciplined underwriting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead underwriting for new direct lending transactions, including detailed credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment.
  • Structure and negotiate deal terms in collaboration with origination and portfolio management teams.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive investment memoranda to the Investment Committee.
  • Conduct due diligence across financial, operational, and legal aspects of prospective borrowers.
  • Monitor market trends and maintain a strong understanding of industry dynamics to inform underwriting decisions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or related fields, with a strong track record in underwriting.
