Our client - a European bank, is looking to hire a senior, high-impact salesperson to help drive the next phase of growth across Investment Grade (IG) and High Yield (HY) credit. This is a key strategic hire into an established and well-supported franchise, offering the opportunity to meaningfully shape the direction of the business. You will join a growing UK Credit Sales team, working closely with senior leadership to accelerate IG and HY franchise growth, deepen client relationships, and drive revenue generation across institutional accounts. This is a senior, front-office position requiring strong market connectivity, commercial instinct, and the ability to generate flow in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary and secondary credit sales across IG and HY markets
- Leverage an existing network of top-tier real money accounts (e.g. M&G, BlackRock, Insight and similar)
- Generate high-quality market colour, trade ideas, and client flow
- Collaborate closely with trading, research, and syndicate teams
- Play a leading role in shaping and building out the UK credit sales strategy
Candidate Profile
- We are looking for a driven, commercially-minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in Credit Sales, ideally across IG with exposure to HY
- Strong relationships with UK institutional Real Money clients (essential)
- Demonstrated ability to generate flow, meetings, and actionable client engagement
