We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented J unior Associate to join our client's investment banking team in London, focused exclusively on the
Specialty Finance sector.
- Support the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, capital raises and strategic advisory engagements across the Specialty Finance sector.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, transaction materials and buyer/investor screening exercises.
- Prepare high-quality pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations and market intelligence materials with a strong emphasis on accuracy and commercial insight.
- Monitor developments across consumer finance, commercial finance, specialty lending, mortgage finance, challenger banking and broader financial services markets to support client advisory work and business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience within investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or a related M&A environment.
- Sector Interest: Strong interest/experience in Specialty Finance, Financial Institutions, lending businesses, financial services or adjacent sectors.
- Transaction Execution: Experience supporting M&A, fundraising, strategic advisory or capital markets transactions in a fast-paced environment.
