Our client, a world-leading hedge fund is seeking a senior full-stack web engineer to build an innovative suite of web applications and tools. You\’ll use your expertise in Python and React to collaborate with teams across the globe to design, build and maintain web apps that will be critical to the fund\’s success. You\’ll maintain a high bar for usability and reliability whilst acting as a crucial bridge between user experience and technical execution and will contribute across the entire software life-cycle.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate with a global team to build and maintain a suite of internal web apps and tools.
• Be involved in every step of the software life-cycle from idea inception to deployment and maintenance.
• Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure and backend engineers.
• Ensure optimal usability and performance by acting as a bridge between UX and technical execution.
• Define best practices in both frontend and backend architecture.

Your current skill-set will include:

• Expertise in Python along with FastAPI for backend services.
• In-depth experience with TypeScript and Vue.js or React for frontend development.
• Experience with using the AWS stack and with managing on-premises production systems.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with a global team.
• A drive for ownership with the skills to work independently and autonomously whilst striving towards team goals.
