This is an opportunity to work closely with the firm\’s directors, gaining exposure across the entire investment and fundraising process while engaging with some of the biggest institutional investors in the market.
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Capital Raising & Investment Associate , you will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors while working across multiple areas of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Capital Raising & Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, articulating the firm\’s value proposition and investment strategies.
- Business Development: Identify and engage new investors, expanding the firm\’s network and fundraising reach.
- Strategic Input & Fund Structuring: Work with directors to refine capital-raising strategies and tailor investment solutions to meet investor needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with investment, portfolio management, and fund management teams to ensure alignment between capital raising and investment strategy.
- Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to enhance the firm\’s positioning.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Take on different projects as needed, shifting focus between fundraising, investment strategy, and investor engagement.
Role Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 11 years in real estate fundraising, institutional sales, or investment management.
- Sales-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to raise capital from institutional investors, with a strong network in the real estate investment space.
- Adaptability & Agility: Comfortable wearing multiple hats-working across fundraising, investor relations, and investment strategy as needed.
- Intellectual Curiosity & Strategic Thinking: Able to engage in high-level discussions with investors while also pivoting between different business areas.
- Collaborative & Entrepreneurial Approach: Ability to work within a small, fast-moving team and contribute across different projects.
- Strong Business Acumen: Understanding of real estate investment structures, fund strategies, and institutional investor expectations.
