A London-based private asset management firm with a focus on European corporate and real estate special situations investments is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting investor reporting, responding to investor queries, and providing technical analysis to assist with due diligence processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private credit and alternative investments.

About the role:

  • Investor Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation and distribution of quarterly and annual investor reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse data for investor communications.
  • Due Diligence Support: Provide technical and quantitative support during the due diligence process for prospective investors. Assist in the preparation of due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and other investor-related materials.
  • Investor Queries & Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries, providing timely and detailed responses. Maintain and update investor records, tracking engagement and feedback.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting & Performance Analysis: Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by investors or internal stakeholders. Monitor and report on fund performance, highlighting key metrics and trends.

About you:

  • Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CAIA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in investor relations, private credit, asset management, or a related financial services field. Strong understanding of private credit markets and alternative investments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with CRM systems and investor reporting tools.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
