We are working with a leading independent advisory platform to appoint an Associate within its Private Capital Advisory team in London. The group is recognised for advising financial sponsors, founder‑led businesses, and institutional investors on complex capital raises across the capital structure.
This is an opportunity to join a high‑performing team with strong deal flow across Europe, working closely with senior bankers on the origination and execution of private capital transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of private capital raises including debt, equity, and hybrid solutions for corporate and sponsor clients.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analysis, and investor materials.
- Participate in all aspects of transaction execution including structuring, due diligence, and investor engagement.
- Prepare marketing materials such as teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across live deal processes.
- Contribute to origination efforts through market analysis and preparation of pitch materials.
- 3 to 6 years of experience within investment banking, private capital advisory, leveraged finance, or a related role.
- Strong track record of involvement in M&A and/or capital markets transactions, with demonstrable execution experience.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skill set, including LBO and returns analysis.
- Experience preparing client‑facing materials and managing workstreams independently.
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to understand transaction rationale beyond technical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to a broad range of private capital transactions across sectors and geographies.
