Our client, a rapidly growing hedge fund, is looking for a Platform Support Engineer for their London office. If successful, you would be collaborating with traders, quant researchers, and senior engineers—ensuring stability, reliability, and responsiveness across their technology stack.
You will own the support workflow: investigating, categorizing, and resolving operational issues while escalating effectively when deeper expertise is required.
My client is looking for a strong troubleshooting mindset with structured problem‑solving, as well as solid experience with Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Your future role:
- Serve as the first point of contact for infrastructure and platform‑related issues.
- Monitor alerts, logs, and dashboards; respond promptly to incidents.
- Perform initial investigation, triage, and resolution where possible.
- Escalate complex issues to the relevant senior engineers, providing clear context.
- Handle user requests (onboarding, permissions, environment setup, resource allocation).
