Our client is a leading prop trading firm seeking a DevEx Engineer to join a platform team at the core of how software is built and delivered. This is a DevEx Engineer role focused on creating a seamless developer experience across the entire lifecycle, from commit to production. You will build and refine internal platforms, Golden Paths and tooling that enable engineers to ship faster, safer and with less friction.
You will work closely with multiple engineering teams, treating developers as your customers. Your focus will be simplifying workflows, improving CI/CD pipelines, streamlining Kubernetes deployments and embedding best practices at scale. This is a high impact role where you shape how engineering gets done, reduce cognitive load and drive adoption of modern approaches including AI assisted development.
Key Requirements- Design and evolve internal developer platforms and Golden Paths
- Improve build, test and deployment workflows to increase speed and reliability
- Partner with engineers to remove friction and enhance developer experience
- Build scalable tooling across cloud and Kubernetes environments
- Drive platform adoption through enablement and clear standards
- Continuously improve reliability, observability and delivery efficiency
- Strong software engineering background with DevEx or platform focus
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or similar
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java or Ruby
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Experience building developer tooling or internal platforms
- Understanding of infrastructure as code and automation
