Our client is looking for a High-Frequency Network Engineer in London with up to seven years of experience. In this role, you will work on ultra-low latency network infrastructure, supporting their high-frequency trading (HFT) operations and high-speed networking, with a strong focus on reducing trading latency. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing high-speed networks for HFT connectivity. Additionally, you will be involved in low-latency network design, including RF link planning, site selection, and signal propagation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize high-speed networks for HFT connectivity.
- Develop low-latency network solutions, including RF link planning, site selection, and signal propagation analysis.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routing and switching for high-performance trading environments.
- Collaborate with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to maximize network efficiency.
- Conduct network performance analysis, latency tuning, and packet-level troubleshooting.
Requirements:
