A global macro hedge fund is seeking to add an Investor Relations professional to support its growing investor base and fundraising activity. The firm runs a macro strategy, with a strong emphasis on risk management and disciplined portfolio construction. This role will support both ongoing investor coverage and new capital raising initiatives, working closely with senior leadership, portfolio managers, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities- Investor Relations
- Act as a key point of contact for existing investors, handling inbound requests and maintaining regular communication.
- Coordinate and prepare investor materials, including monthly and quarterly reporting, performance commentary, and presentations.
- Support prospective investor due diligence processes, including DDQs, RFPs, and ad‑hoc follow‑ups.
- Maintain investor records, CRM systems, and reporting calendars to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Work closely with portfolio management, operations, compliance, and service providers to produce accurate, timely investor communications.
- Capital Formation
- Support fundraising activity across existing and new strategies or vehicles.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of marketing materials, pitch books, and bespoke presentations.
- Help organise investor meetings, roadshows, and conference participation.
- Track and manage prospective investor pipelines alongside senior team members.
- Conduct background research on institutional allocators, family offices, consultants, and market trends relevant to fundraising.

- Assist in refining the firm's external messaging around investment philosophy, portfolio construction, and risk management (within compliance guidelines).
- Support internal initiatives related to improving IR processes, reporting frameworks, and investor experience.

- Experience
- Around 4-8 years of experience in Investor Relations or Capital Formation at a hedge fund or alternative asset manager; or a relevant role at a placement agent, investment bank, or institutional allocator with strong hedge fund exposure.
- Exposure to global macro strategies preferred but not required.
