This role will focus on designing, building, and enhancing automated identity and access management solutions across a complex enterprise environment.
Working closely with Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, and HR teams, you will be responsible for identity lifecycle management, application integration, Sail Point engineering, and access governance initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys building scalable integrations, driving automation, and solving complex identity challenges within a highly technical environment.
Responsibilities

- Integrate IAM solutions with HR platforms, directories, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain custom identity integrations, including SCIM 2.0 provisioning connectors.
- Build solutions for applications that do not support modern identity standards such as SCIM, SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
- Develop APIs, middleware, and automation services to facilitate secure identity data exchange.
- Configure, administer, and enhance Sail Point Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including workflows, rules, connectors, and custom extensions.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual access management processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure identity requirements are embedded into application architecture and development practices.
- Monitor and optimise IAM platform performance, reliability, and integrations.
- Support identity governance, access control reviews, risk assessments, and identity-related incident investigations.
- Contribute to IAM policies, standards, and security architecture initiatives.
- Promote Identity-as-Code, Infrastructure-as-Code, and modern IAM best practices across the organisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in IAM Engineering, Identity Engineering, or Application Integration Engineering.
- Strong software engineering background with experience developing production‑grade integrations.
- Hands‑on experience with Sail Point (Identity IQ or Identity Security Cloud) or similar enterprise IAM platforms.
- Proven experience developing SCIM 2.0 integrations and custom provisioning connectors.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, and modern authentication protocols.
- Experience integrating identity solutions across both cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with technologies such as Python and Power Shell.
- Experience using Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, Active Directory, and Entra ID (Azure AD).

- Preferred
- Experience integrating legacy or non-integrated applications into modern IAM environments.
- Experience developing middleware, identity proxy services, or custom integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Exposure to Dev Sec Ops practices and security automation.
