Key Responsibilities

  • Origination & Client Development

  • Transaction Execution
    • Lead end-to-end execution of M&A, licensing, partnering, and financing transactions.
    • Structure innovative deals that reflect the scientific and commercial nuances of healthcare assets.
    • Oversee financial modelling, valuation, and negotiation processes.
  • Sector Leadership
    • Provide thought leadership across healthcare subsectors including therapeutics, medtech, and diagnostics.
    • Maintain deep understanding of drug development, regulatory pathways, and market dynamics.
    • Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and strategic positioning.
  • Internal Leadership
    • Mentor and develop junior bankers and sector specialists.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience (typically 12-15+ years) in investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic advisory within healthcare.
  • Proven track record of originating and executing transactions in biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
  • Deep understanding of drug development, licensing, and commercialisation models.
  • Strong relationships across industry participants including corporates, investors, and founders.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate credibly at Board level.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to work in a specialist, high-impact advisory environment.
