We are working with a leading global financial institution to appoint an experienced Investment Grade Credit Trader at Vice President level. This is a front-office role focused on Euro-denominated investment grade corporate credit, offering the opportunity to take material risk, contribute to franchise growth, and work closely with sales, research, and syndicate teams in a highly collaborative trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively trade European investment grade corporate bonds, managing risk and P&L within agreed limits.
- Provide pricing, liquidity, and market colour to internal stakeholders and key clients.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Research, and Primary Credit teams to support client activity and new issue processes.
- Monitor market developments, credit fundamentals, and relative value opportunities across sectors.
- Contribute to the development of trading strategies, inventory management, and market positioning.
- Ensure trading activity complies with internal risk, regulatory, and control frameworks.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience trading Euro investment grade corporate credit within a reputable financial institution.
- Strong understanding of credit markets, spread dynamics, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to generate consistent P&L and manage positions in varying market conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with sales teams and institutional clients.
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment under pressure.
- Experience at VP level or a strong Associate ready to step up.
