The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading international bank seeking to hire a Director-level Corporate Banker to join its Transportation & Logistics (T&L) team in London. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on growing and deepening relationships across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, own, and grow a portfolio of UK-based corporate clients, with a focus on T&L sectors
- Originate and execute new business opportunities, leveraging both existing relationships and new client acquisition
- Act as a trusted advisor at C-suite and Group Treasury level, delivering integrated banking solutions
- Lead transactions end-to-end, coordinating with product partners across financing, markets, and advisory
- Drive cross-border collaboration, working closely with stakeholders across European offices
- Identify sector trends and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
- Maintain strong credit discipline, KYC oversight, and overall portfolio quality
- Develop and mentor junior team members while promoting a high-performance, collaborative culture
Candidate Profile
- Director-level banker with ~10+ years' experience in Corporate / Wholesale Banking
- Strong UK market experience with an established and portable client network
- Background in T&L sectors or a broader coverage banker with relevant exposure
- Track record of originating mandates, building relationships, and executing transactions
- Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running and generate revenue from day one
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working across international teams
- Solid understanding of credit, financing products, and capital markets solutions
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities
