Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading boutique operating within the infrastructure space across private and listed funds. The firm manage $2bn assets under management across funds and segregated mandates and invest across energy, renewables, transport, power and digital infrastructure. The group have some of the leading institutional investors across the US, EMEA and APAC invested into the firm. The firm was founded by ex-Morgan Stanley executives, and as the firm continue to excel in performance, they are looking to add an Associate into their Capital Raising Team. The successful individual will report into the MD, Head of Capital Raising, and will work closely with the MD and CEO to attract to investors to the firm through their private/listed funds and through separate accounts. This individual would spend 50% of their time prospecting to institutional investors across EMEA via client meetings and phone calls, and 50% of their role within investor relations/project management. This role is an excellent next step for those in investor relations that are looking to pursue a career within capital raising and for those who wish to build out their own investor rolodex. Responsibilities: – Identifying and approaching new target institutional investors through meetings and phone calls – Managing the entire fundraising life cycle from prospecting to closing, with support from the MD – Updating marketing materials and creating new content for the website and social media needs – Responding to RFPs and DDQs, and assisting on fact sheets/presentations – Supporting on product development through cross-selling, assisting new product marketing and gauging investor appetite Ideal Candidate: – 2+ years in an investor relations, client service, project management or fundraising role within a placement agent or asset management – Experience within infrastructure or private credit is a strong plus – Bringing a contact book of investors is not required – Additional European / Asian Languages is also a plus – Entrepreneurial self-starter who is willing to pick up the phone and engage with investors – Driven to start on their capital raising career within the private markets / infrastructure space If you are keen to start your capital raising career and join a high-performance infrastructure fund, then apply directly here! #J-18808-Ljbffr
