About the Firm: A globally recognized investment bank with a strong presence in London is seeking a talented and driven Senior Associate or Vice President to join its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) team. Role Overview: This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team focused on executing M&A and capital markets transactions across the PUI space. The successful candidate will play a key role in deal execution, client engagement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the execution of M&A, debt, and equity financing transactions.
  • Develop and review detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps).
  • Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and transaction documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor and manage junior bankers, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Engage in client meetings, due diligence processes, and negotiations.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to strategic growth of the PUI franchise.

Key Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to the PUI or broader infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
  • Proven experience in executing M&A and/or capital markets transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and leadership potential.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
