About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Associate to join our clients London-based Consumer Investment Banking team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing global platform, with 65 Consumer bankers worldwide and 14 based in London. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of Consumer sub-sectors, including pet, food & beverage, travel, and consumer health, with frequent collaboration across our international offices in Frankfurt, Richmond, Minneapolis, and San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of sell-side M&A transactions within the Consumer sector.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence processes.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues across geographies and product teams to deliver seamless client service.
• Contribute to business development efforts and sector coverage initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Demonstrated experience in sell-side M&A transactions.
• Prior experience in the ASC (Associate) seat at a competitive investment banking platform.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage deal execution.
• We are not considering Senior Analyst profiles for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to or a strong interest in the Consumer sector.
• Nordic or Dutch language skills are a plus.
