A dynamic and growing hedge fund is seeking an Investor Relations Professional to join its London-based team. The firm manages around $1bn in assets across a diverse range of strategies across l/s equity and macro. In addition to its core fund offerings, the firm also manages separately managed accounts and has a global footprint.
This is a high-impact role offering broad exposure across the full investor relations function. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and operations, supporting fundraising efforts, investor communications, and relationship management. The position is well-suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to take ownership of IR processes within a lean and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage CRM systems and investor databases
- Prepare, update, and tailor DDQs and marketing materials for prospective and existing investors
- Coordinate investor meetings and follow-ups, including scheduling, briefing materials, and post-meeting actions
- Liaise with operations and compliance to ensure accuracy and consistency across investor communications
- Support strategic fundraising initiatives aimed at significantly increasing AUM over the coming years
- Assist with bespoke investor requests and reporting, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail
Candidate Profile:
- Approximately 5 years of experience in investor relations, preferably within hedge funds or asset management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with sophisticated investors
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Candidates with slightly less experience will also be considered if they demonstrate strong potential and relevant exposure
