Head of Equity Derivatives Sales - London
Our client, a leading organisation in the finance sector, is seeking a Head of Equity Derivatives and Cross Asset Solutions to join our client's team in London on a permanent basis. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving Equity Derivatives and Cross Asset Solutions sales to distribution clients and selected institutional accounts, leveraging 6-20 years of experience and deep product expertise to shape strategy, grow revenues, and mentor a high-performing sales function.
Role Overview
In this position, you will spearhead sales efforts across the full spectrum of Equity Derivatives products, QIS, and cross-asset solutions, ensuring our client's offering is positioned at the forefront of the market. You will work closely with key distribution and institutional clients, developing trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.
Key Skills and Experience
- Sales - Proven track record driving revenue growth, originating opportunities, and closing complex transactions with sophisticated clients.
- Sales & Distribution - Experience covering distribution channels, managing client books, and building scalable sales strategies across multiple products.
- Equity - Strong understanding of equity markets, including how underlying equity dynamics inform derivative pricing and client solutions.
- Equity Derivatives (EQD) Products - Deep knowledge of structured products, options, volatility, and other EQD instruments used in client portfolios and risk management.
- QIS (Quantitative Investment Strategies) - Exposure to rule-based strategies, indices, and systematic solutions, with ability to articulate their value to clients.
- Cross Asset Solutions - Experience designing and selling solutions that span multiple asset classes, integrating equity, rates, FX, and credit views.
