We are currently representing a well established Asset Management Firm who are looking to add a Fund/Manager Research Analyst to their team in London.

Key responsibilities and requirements:

  • Investment due diligence on alternative UCITS managers and offshore hedge funds
  • Generalist strategy coverage, with a focused on equity long/short and EMN strategies on a global basis
  • Day to Day tasks: Hedge Fund manager research – monitoring of managers; sourcing managers; documentation and report writing; assist Sales team with client requests

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Investment 2-7 year related experience
  • Competent capital markets background – familiarity with fixed income and derivative markets
  • Technical competency to perform quantitative analysis on managers
  • A self-starter who has a \’can-do\’ attitude, can quickly analyse internal and external requirements and focus on managing often challenging delivery expectations
  • A strong effective communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships with the senior management team and internal teams
  • A proactive and flexible team player with effective interpersonal skills
  • An independent thinker with a high level of integrity
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise effectively
  • The ability to remain level headed when managing multiple tasks to often tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs with Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate) and Outlook as a pre-requisite
  • Degree level education
