Risk Management Team
Our mission is to enhance long-term returns while managing acceptable risk levels. This involves regular collaboration with senior management across corporate and business units. The team includes actuaries and modelers who identify, quantify, and report on various risks.
Role Overview
The candidate will engage in projects related to casualty accumulation, catastrophe modeling, and emerging risks. They will handle both quantitative and qualitative data and lead discussions with senior executives. An actuarial credential is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Casualty Accumulation : Develop and optimize data processes, analyze and visualize accumulations, create catastrophe scenarios, and model reinsurance protections.
- Emerging Risk Monitoring : Research and quantify impacts of emerging risks like AI and climate change, and monitor other risks.
- Leadership Initiatives : Automate key processes, maintain risk assessment processes, contribute to reporting routines, and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Required Skills : Proficiency in R/Python and Excel, strong communication skills, organizational and multitasking abilities, independent research skills, knowledge of casualty lines, and 5+ years of relevant experience.
