Role Responsibilities
As a director, you will play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle of real estate private equity transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Origination : Identifying and developing new investment opportunities across Europe, leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts.
- Transaction Execution : Leading the structuring, underwriting, and negotiation of complex real estate deals, including sale and leasebacks, portfolio acquisitions, and corporate-backed real estate transactions.
- Financial Modelling : Building and reviewing sophisticated financial models to assess investment viability and returns.
- Presentation & Reporting : Preparing and delivering high-impact presentations and investment committee materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Asset Management & Exit Strategy : Overseeing post-acquisition performance, driving value creation, and executing strategic exits including refinancings, break-up strategies, or REIT conversions.
Role Requirements
- Experience : Minimum 10 years in real estate private equity, investment banking, or Big Four, with a strong focus on real estate investments.
- Expertise : Proven track record in executing and managing complex real estate transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Technical Skills : Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring capabilities.
- Languages : Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable.
- Education : Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CFA) are a plus.
- Soft Skills : Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
