A leading, independent European real estate investment firm is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director to join its dynamic team. With a track record of over €5 billion in transactions and a reputation for delivering exceptional returns across market cycles, this firm operates at the forefront of complex, cross-border real estate private equity investments. Role Responsibilities

  • Origination: Identifying and developing new investment opportunities across Europe, leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts.
  • Transaction Execution: Leading the structuring, underwriting, and negotiation of complex real estate deals, including sale and leasebacks, portfolio acquisitions, and corporate-backed real estate transactions.
  • Financial Modelling: Building and reviewing sophisticated financial models to assess investment viability and returns.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Preparing and delivering high-impact presentations and investment committee materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Asset Management & Exit Strategy: Overseeing post-acquisition performance, driving value creation, and executing strategic exits including refinancings, break-up strategies, or REIT conversions.

Role Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in real estate private equity, investment banking, or Big Four, with a strong focus on real estate investments.
  • Expertise: Proven track record in executing and managing complex real estate transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring capabilities.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable.
  • Education: Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CFA) are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
