Director - Investment Banking - Real Estate

Company Overview A leading, independent European real estate investment firm is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director to join its dynamic team. With a track record of over €5 billion in transactions and a reputation for delivering exceptional returns across market cycles, this firm operates at the forefront of complex, cross-border real estate private equity investments. As a director, you will play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle of real estate private equity transactions. Origination : Identifying and developing new investment opportunities across Europe, leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts. Leading the structuring, underwriting, and negotiation of complex real estate deals, including sale and leasebacks, portfolio acquisitions, and corporate-backed real estate transactions. Financial Modelling : Building and reviewing sophisticated financial models to assess investment viability and returns. Preparing and delivering high-impact presentations and investment committee materials for internal and external stakeholders. Asset Management & Exit Strategy : Overseeing post-acquisition performance, driving value creation, and executing strategic exits including refinancings, break-up strategies, or REIT conversions. Experience : Minimum 10 years in real estate private equity, investment banking, or Big Four, with a strong focus on real estate investments. Proven track record in executing and managing complex real estate transactions across multiple jurisdictions. Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring capabilities. Languages : Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable. Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field; ACA, CFA) are a plus.
