We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Director to join our Structured Credit team in London. This is a senior role for a dynamic professional who thrives on complexity, creativity, and client engagement. You will design and execute bespoke credit solutions for global institutions, leveraging cutting‑edge products and strategies to optimise risk, capital, and returns.

About the Role

• Lead origination and structuring of sophisticated credit transactions for banks, insurers, asset managers, and corporates.
• Engineer innovative solutions using a wide range of instruments, including:
• Credit Default Swaps (CDS): Develop hedging strategies and risk transfer mechanisms.
• Credit Insurance: Structure deals for capital relief and regulatory optimisation.
• Repo‑to‑Maturity: Deliver liquidity solutions aligned with client funding needs.
• Financial Guarantees: Enhance credit profiles and support balance sheet efficiency.
• Risk Participation Agreements: Enable portfolio diversification and syndication.
• Letters of Credit, collateralise or hedged via CDS, for trade finance and capital optimisation.
• Work closely with trading desks, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
• Advise clients on market trends, regulatory developments, and bespoke structuring opportunities.
• Familiarity with Repackaging structures and Credit‑Linked Notes (CLNs) to deliver tailored investment solutions.
• Deep understanding of Basel III/IV, CRR, and capital optimisation strategies.
• Strong quantitative and legal structuring skills, with the ability to navigate complex documentation.
• Proven track record in executing high‑value structured credit transactions and building long‑term client relationships.
