We are partnered with a stealth-mode trading technology firm who are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the build of a proprietary prop trading platform from the ground up. The company is developing an AI-powered system that merges advanced data science, algorithmic trading, and intuitive interfaces to drive next-generation financial strategies.
As CTO, you\’ll define and execute the technology roadmap, architect the entire platform, and build a high-performing distributed engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering a secure, scalable, and intelligent trading system from scratch.
Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of a greenfield trading platform
Oversee integration of real-time market data, broker APIs, and strategy deployment via a custom DSL
Build interactive trading interfaces (React/TypeScript)
Drive DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), and cybersecurity
Ensure compliance with financial industry standards and audit readiness
10+ years in tech leadership, with 5+ in fintech, trading tech, or AI startups
~ Proven experience building and scaling real-time, data-intensive systems from scratch
~ Proficiency in C# for high-performance, low-latency trading systems
~ Strong backend (Python, Node.js, Rust) and frontend (React, Next.js) expertise
~ Deep experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), broker APIs, and market data pipelines
~ Track record of building high-performing teams and aligning tech with business goals
