We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Construction team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.
You will:
- Prepare and maintain materials and equipment used by students in the workshops
- Support the dismantling of work prepared by students to maintain operational status of the workshops
- Carry out maintenance of workshops
- Ensure adequate stock levels of materials are maintained
- Implement appropriate Health and Safety systems
- Support the instruction of learners in practical activity
As a Workshop Technician, you should be confident, well organised, and have specialist vocational skills in the Construction Industry. You should:
- Hold a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a construction trade.
- GCSE English and Maths A*-C or equivalent
- First Aid qualification, or willingness to achieve within six months
- A wide range of experience gained within the Construction Industry
