Hours: 37 hours per week

This role is Fixed Term for 2 years, and the successful applicant will be completing the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship alongside the role. On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, the role may progress into a permanent position.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee MIS Report Writer to join the Funding, Timetabling and Student Data team. You will:

  • Undertake a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship
  • Create reports and extract data from Group information systems
  • Prepare and present reports relating to the work of the MI function and other appropriate matters
  • Develop databases and queries as appropriate to monitor data quality
  • Work to ensure that information for Group managers is clear, relevant, on time and easy to understand and use

About you

  • Hold GCSEs in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • Be qualified to Higher National/Degree level, or have significant experience in the Further Education sector
  • Have a commitment to completing the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship
  • Have professional working experience of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
