Andersons Garage is a busy, well-established independent garage with an excellent reputation for quality workmanship and honest customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester to join our friendly team.
The primary focus of this role is carrying out MOT tests to the highest standard. If you also have the ability to undertake servicing and repair work, that would be a welcome bonus, but it is not essential.
The RoleYour main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
- Identifying and accurately recording vehicle defects.
- Ensuring all MOT documentation is completed correctly.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
- Supporting the workshop team where required.
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine vehicle maintenance (if suitably experienced).
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a current DVSA Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester licence.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Works well as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
- Has a professional and positive attitude.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
Experience in vehicle servicing and repairs would be advantageous but is not essential.
