We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance and System Coordinator to join our team. This position will work closely with the Head of Quality & Compliance to improve and maintain compliance across Sekura. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is proactive, organised, and hands‑on—someone who can work independently and enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and driving meaningful improvements and results.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and overall compliance framework
- Support ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and ensure ongoing regulatory and legislative compliance
- Manage product and material compliance (e.g. CE/UKCA, REACH, ROHS) and environmental requirements (e.g. WEEE, EPR, packaging data)
- Support Health & Safety and Environmental systems, working closely with Operations
- Help drive and track the sustainability (ESG) program, including customer and supplier requirements (e.g. EcoVadis, SEDEX)
- Plan and support internal and external audits, including suppliers and 3PLs, and follow up on actions
- Maintain accurate compliance records, registers, SOPs, and document control systems
- Work cross-functionally with Procurement and other teams to ensure accurate product and compliance data
- Support the Quality team and laboratory when needed (e.g. testing support during busy periods), building a practical understanding of products
- Take ownership of tasks, identify gaps, and drive improvement. Identify issues, fix them, and improve how we work.
Qualifications and Experience Include
- Working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Experience or exposure to Health & Safety practices and compliance
- Understanding of process documentation, SOPs, and document control
- Relevant experience in quality, compliance, or a related field preferred
- ISO 9001 certification (or similar) would be advantageous
- Previous experience supporting or maintaining ISO 9001 systems is highly desirable
- Exposure to product and material compliance (e.g. CE/UKCA, REACH, ROHS) is beneficial but not essential
- Strong data handling and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Understanding the concept of effective process documentation and data management
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate and work across all levels of the business
- A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to work cross-functionally with a global team
- Self‑motivated with excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks undertaken
- Proactive in learning and developing new skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent all-round interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate and demonstrate influencing skills
- Strong problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
