Senior Metallurgist Engineer – Peterborough Hybrid Working PAYE / Umbrella Rates Available We’re looking for a Materials/ Metallurgist Engineer to provide support to our clients national and global facilities. Working at this global OEM, every day presents a new challenge where you will investigate a wide range of different materials that are used in multiple applications. So if you’re a team player, are self-driven and have experience in a Materials Laboratory environment we would love to hear from you! Key areas of responsibility for you as a Senior Metallurgist Engineer; Resolving issues regarding the design or manufacturing. Ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness. Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Planning and improving testing procedures and operations to make the test more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective. Monitoring results, machine and process capabilities and performance reliability.
