Reliability Engineer – Engines Peterborough (WFH 2 days a week) 12 month initial contract Hourly Rates up to £25.50 PAYE (plus holiday and pension contributions) OR £34.20 (umbrella) We’re looking for an experienced Engineer with a background in reliability and quality to come and support the delivery of technical issues on both engines and in machines at a leading Engine and Off Highway Machinery manufacturer based in Peterborough. Working with Engineers from Systems Engineering and Validation teams you will support several NPI programs and be tasked with responding to technical observations and defining actions that need to be taken. Working with the very latest designs and technology as a Technical Issues Engineer you will; * Lead internal review meetings within engineering to assign issues found * Work with Customers, and run triage meetings * Create & communicate of reliability/PPRD health metrics * Provide training on usage of the tools/system * Seek and deliver continuous process improvement opportunities in this space Desired Skills and Experience as a Reliability Engineer – Engines: * Engineering / STEM degree * Good communication skills (both written & verbal) * Microsoft Excel is a big part for this requirement * Experience of DMAIC would be beneficial * Engine experience would be an advantage * Experience of Proactive Reliability, and demonstration of Product Quality To apply, please submit a copy of your …
