Know Your HR Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your HR knowledge, especially if you've got 2+ years of experience. Be ready to discuss your previous roles and how they relate to the responsibilities listed in the job description. Highlight any specific HR systems you've used, like Workday, and be prepared to share examples of how you've supported HR activities.

Show Off Your Organisational Skills

Since this role requires strong organisational and workload management skills, think of specific instances where you've successfully managed multiple tasks or projects. Bring these examples to the interview to demonstrate your ability to thrive in a busy HR environment.

Get Familiar with Microsoft Office

As proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, make sure you're comfortable discussing your experience with it. If there are any specific tools or features you've used that could benefit the HR team, mention them. You might even want to practice using Excel or PowerPoint to showcase your skills during the interview.

Be Ready for Front-Facing Scenarios

Since the role involves front-facing support, prepare for questions about how you handle interactions with employees. Think about times when you've resolved conflicts or provided excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This will show that you're not just organised but also personable and approachable.
