A well-established organisation within a regulated environment is looking for a Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing technology team. This is a hands-on role with real ownership — roughly 60% hands-on engineering and 40% leading initiatives, solving problems and driving technical improvements across a hybrid infrastructure estate. The environment is stable and mature, with a strong focus on resilience, networking and the ongoing transition to Azure and zero trust security.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and improving enterprise network and infrastructure environments
- Managing LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routing and Azure networking
- Providing 3rd line support across Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware and Hyper-V
- Leading infrastructure upgrades, migrations and cloud integration projects
- Taking ownership of issues through to resolution, including root cause analysis
- Supporting disaster recovery, resilience and security initiatives
- Working within a lean, collaborative infrastructure team
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in a Network Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role
- Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge across on-prem and Azure environments
- Experience with Windows Server, VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Exposure to hybrid cloud, routing, VPNs and firewall technologies
- Interest or experience in zero trust environments / Zscaler is a plus
- A proactive, technically curious problem-solver who takes ownership and works independently
