Are you someone who is looking to lead change and innovation? We are looking for a proactive Manufacturing Engineer who can implement Robotics into production environments!
With multimillion valuing projects, you will lead and work cross-functionally within our organisation to ensure the smooth introduction of our world-class products.
In brief what will you do:
- Proactively identify business opportunities, assess overall impact and justify to senior stakeholders for capital investment.
- Lead complex manufacturing problem resolution, including investigation and solution implementation.
- Project management - Full scope, development, budgets, resources and management of NPI or Improvement projects (Technology/Efficiency/Quality) from initiation to production and program completion.
- Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions, working with functional teams, using a range of tools e.g. process flows, PFMEA's, control plans.
- Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business.
- Monitor and report on project health, including issue management to ensure People, Quality, Velocity and Cost targets are achieved.
- Identify opportunities for automation and robotics, and bring to implementation.
- Develop equipment specifications and installation requirements and ensuring that the equipment is safe and meets the needs of manufacturing.
What we're looking for from you as Manufacturing Engineer:
- Degree or equivalent experience required - Manufacturing Processes, Project Management, and Problem Management Process.
- Good understanding of building and construction equipment Assembly, Test or Finish processes and production.
- Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter would be advantageous.
- Experience of leading quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5 why, fishbone diagrams and other appropriate quality tools.
- 6 Sigma project leadership experience.
