Your contributions will be supported by a company that encourages your input and learning.\\n\\nRole Responsibilities:\\n\\nCreate and maintain electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Vault.\\nDesign electrical system layouts, schematics, and cable block diagrams.\\nSupport the development of automotive wiring harnesses for engine test facilities.\\nWork from established design specifications with guidance from senior engineers.\\nReference technical documentation to extract relevant electrical information.\\nDevelop installation instructions and user documentation.\\nParticipate in design review meetings and provide progress updates.\\nPrepare test documentation to facilitate harness quality checks.\\nGain practical experience with loom and harness builds, including basic fault-finding tasks.\\nWhat you need:\\n\\n1-3 years of experience in electrical/electronic design\\nProficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or Autodesk Vault\\nFamiliarity with PLM software, component creation, icon/footprint design, and library management\\nKnowledge of CE / UKCA compliance and harmonised standards\\nWillingness to learn about standards such as EN 60204, EN 12100, and BS 7671\\nCapability to manage multiple projects at various stages\\nExperience with SAE standards or automotive connectors\\nKnowledge of switchgear selection\\nFamiliarity with instrumentation, embedded electronics, or PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation)\\nUnderstanding of quality systems (ISO 9001 or ISO 17025)\\nProfessional registration or progress toward it (IET or equivalent)\\nTo apply, please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV indicating your relevant experience.
