Import & Export Coordinator Desford (LE9) Initial 12-month contract – has the potential to keep rolling for the right person! 37.5 hours a week: Mon to Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-11:30 (could also start at 07.00 or 07.30) Up to £16.86 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £23.09 – depending on experience Have you imported or exported goods in/out of the UK? Are you familiar with the administration that goes with UK imports/exports for Customs purposes? If “yes” and you enjoy working in a busy environment, where every day is different, this could be the opportunity you are looking for you… We are looking for an Import and Export Coordinator to join our client’s team in Desford, they are an industry leader, and world-renowned brand who import and export worldwide! This is an initial 12-month contract, which has the potential to keep rolling! What would the Import & Export Coordinator do? Working with the import of goods coming into the facility, as well as helping with the shipping out and export of finished goods to outside destinations. The role is very varied, a lot going on. A lot of projects to get involved in, improving products. Fun and exciting environment. New product lines being introduced. Very fast paced role. Ensure import and export compliance, making sure all documentation is trade compliant. Handle daily import, export and Customs activity with freight forwarders and supply chain. What experience will the Import & Export Coordinator need? Essential: Previous experience and understanding of working within a Global Imports/Exports department. Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work and communicate with other departments, and external third parties. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style. Keen and enthusiastic to learn – personality will go a long way in this instance! The ability to work in an organised, planned manner and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Incoterms and Tariff codes. Desirable SAP and Power BI experience To apply, please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV clearly indicating your relevant experience.
