If so, this exciting opportunity could be for you. We are seeking an experienced EHS Officer to support the manager in designing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety programs, policies, and regulations.
This role offers the chance to work with a leading global engine manufacturer in an EHS capacity, where each day presents new challenges and projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing inspections and tests to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations, and company practices
- Assisting in training employees on EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintaining EHS records according to established guidelines
- Contributing to the development of EHS policies and procedures
- Supporting site-wide learning and development activities
- Assisting with occupational health requirements
- Supporting CSR and sustainability initiatives
Ideal candidate profile:
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- 1-2 years of experience in an EHS role
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Membership of IOSH is desirable
- Knowledge of EHS policies and legal requirements
- Experience with PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments, PUWER, Waste Management, and other related areas is advantageous
