If so, this exciting opportunity could be for you. We are seeking an experienced EHS Officer to support the manager in designing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety programs, policies, and regulations.

This role offers the chance to work with a leading global engine manufacturer in an EHS capacity, where each day presents new challenges and projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing inspections and tests to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations, and company practices
  • Assisting in training employees on EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Maintaining EHS records according to established guidelines
  • Contributing to the development of EHS policies and procedures
  • Supporting site-wide learning and development activities
  • Assisting with occupational health requirements
  • Supporting CSR and sustainability initiatives

Ideal candidate profile:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • 1-2 years of experience in an EHS role
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Membership of IOSH is desirable
  • Knowledge of EHS policies and legal requirements
  • Experience with PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments, PUWER, Waste Management, and other related areas is advantageous
