The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 Β£ per year.

This role is open to both graduate/junior and experienced level. It offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a wide selection of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Off-Highway and more.

You will play a key role in design, development, and integration of electrical and automation systems for testing solutions, including selecting appropriate hardware such as sensors, actuators, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed drawings and design specifications that meet contractual requirements and promote cost-effective design
  • Produce detailed technical documentation including electrical schematics, control logic diagrams and operating manuals
  • Ensure designs meet national and international standards, regulations and safety requirements
  • Perform self-verification of tasks to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues, recommending modifications or corrective actions
  • Ability to specify and liaise on the procurement of electrical assemblies and components
  • Support sales in technical reviews of RFQ’s, including the ability to define a system outline from customer requirements
  • Assist with technical and electrical support/troubleshooting to project managers, production manager and commissioning engineers when required
  • Communicate with other departments and collaborate with suppliers regarding product design, operation and integration
  • Support installation and design reviews on Customer sites
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of two years industry experience
  • Degree in electrical and/or automation engineering
  • EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical experience (training can be given in either package as required)
  • UKCA/CE Design, Machinery Directive and Beckhoff Automation Technology experience
  • Full clean UK Driving License
  • Valid Passport
