We’re looking for a SAP Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our Globally renowned Fortune 100 engineering client’s Supply Chain Team in Desford. This is an initial 12 month contract which has the potential to extend for the right person, in line with business need.
The manufacturing facility builds several products on the line each day – you’ll play a critical part of the supply chain and be responsible for gathering packaging information & supplier lead time from production part suppliers, there’s a lot of variety of people to work with! You’ll then update the internal packaging database and systems accordingly.
What will the SAP Supply Chain Planning Analyst do?
- Work in the Supply Chain team liaising with global suppliers
- Assist with the introduction of a new SAP ERP system - you’ll be responsible for Supplier onboarding & engagement, data/process alignment, system implementation supports
- Continuously improve supply chain processes post SAP implementation
- Be a key contributor to successful SAP ERP rollout and act as a bridge between: Suppliers, Internal project team to ensure timely supplier responses, smooth communication & escalation
- Help drive adoption of new systems, project timelines and delivery success
What skills and experience will the SAP Supply Chain Planning Analyst need?
Essential:
- SAP ERP exposure (Supply Chain modules preferred) - this is key within this assignment
- Excellent written & verbal communications, used to liaising with suppliers – this is key
- Self-motivated individual who is a confident speaker, who can pick up the phone and talk to people
- Process tracking and problem resolution (project support)
- Industry background: manufacturing, automotive, FMCG / retail supply chain, logistics & distribution - any environment involving supplier interaction, ERP systems, process coordination.
- Relevant demonstrable experience in: Supply chain operations or ERP/SAP-related roles or Supplier coordination / stakeholder engagement roles or Hands-on experience in a process-driven or project-based environment
Desirable:
- Degree in Supply Chain / Business / IT preferred but not essential
- SAP certifications (advantage but not mandatory).
