Somerset - role is based on site, there’s potential hybrid working and flexible working patterns. 38 hours a week with a lunchtime finish on a Friday!
Salary up to £55,000 (DOE) + up to £3,000 relocation allowance (if required). Other benefits include:

What skills and experience will the Senior Electronic Design Engineer need?
- Significant knowledge (degree or other appropriate qualification essential) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge in the following subject areas: Embedded & power electronic design, schematic capture, simulation, actuators, motor control, Microprocessor, Analogue & digital design, PCB layout & simulation (experience using Altium Designer would be an advantage).
- Experience in designing for compliance and relevant Standards (e.g., EMC, Safety etc.).
- Experienced in consumer products, power electronics, portable devices, power tools etc.
- Hands-on testing & evaluation using a range of test equipment.
- Experience in design software: Solidworks or LTSpice would be an advantage.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar manufacturing business leading projects/teams, mentoring others, and shaping best practice across design and manufacturing.
